Business Development Officer – MICE & Corporate Travel

About the role

Good Vacations is seeking a full‑time Business Development Officer to drive growth in its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and corporate travel segments. Based on‑site in Kozhikode, you will identify new corporate clients, build a robust sales pipeline, and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, acquire and manage new corporate and MICE accounts.
• Prepare and present customized travel and event proposals.
• Negotiate rates, contracts and service terms.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of travel services.
• Monitor market trends, track performance metrics and produce regular reports and forecasts.
• Participate in client meetings, industry events and networking activities to expand the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business development ability in corporate travel, MICE or hospitality sales.
• Strong analytical mindset to evaluate client needs and market opportunities.
• Basic understanding of finance concepts such as pricing, margins and contract terms.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on long‑term relationship building.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kozhikode and meet revenue targets.
