Business Development Manager – Jaipur

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for a leading diagnostic laboratory in the Jaipur zone. Reporting to the Zonal Sales Manager, the role focuses on prospecting new customers, building relationships with clinicians, hospitals and corporate partners, and expanding market share.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competition and growth opportunities within the zone.
• Generate at least 25 qualified leads per month and maintain a pipeline of 150+ potential customers each quarter.
• Engage prospects through up to 200 outreach attempts monthly and hold a minimum of 10 daily meetings.
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, handle objections and collaborate with Zonal Managers to close deals.
• Log all sales activities in the LIMS Sales module and produce monthly performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 1‑4 years of business development, sales or marketing experience in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Proven track record of lead generation, pipeline development and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with experience dealing with clinicians, hospitals and corporate clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LIMS Sales module for activity tracking.
• Experience using CRM systems for sales reporting and pipeline management.
