About the role
As a Business Development Manager for the Independent Hotels team at MakeMyTrip, you will lead the growth of our hotel portfolio across Goa and Hassan. You will build strong relationships with independent hotel partners, drive revenue performance, and ensure a seamless end‑to‑end account experience.
Key responsibilities
- Connect with and engage independent hotels, managing accounts from onboarding to ongoing performance.
- Source, onboard and train new hotel partners on MakeMyTrip’s extranet and wholesale platform.
- Develop and execute business plans to grow net revenue, maintain inventory levels, and keep rates competitive across multiple channels.
- Analyse hotel performance data, prepare monthly production reports, and provide actionable feedback to top‑producing partners.
- Conduct market site visits, build MIS and market‑intelligence reports, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate deals, initiate partnerships, and close agreements that benefit both the hotels and MakeMyTrip.
Required profile
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- High energy, team‑player attitude with a results‑driven mindset.
- Experience in hospitality sales or business development, preferably at a senior executive or assistant‑manager level.
