Business Development Manager – Bhubaneshwar

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the expansion and performance of MakeMyTrip's independent hotel portfolio in Bhubaneshwar and surrounding regions. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and hotel partners, driving revenue growth while ensuring high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with independent hotels, handling end‑to‑end account management.
• Source, onboard, and train new hotel partners on MakeMyTrip’s extranet and wholesale platform.
• Develop and execute business plans to increase net revenue, maintain optimal inventory, and ensure competitive pricing across channels.
• Analyse performance metrics, prepare MIS and market intelligence reports, and provide actionable recommendations to partners.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and strategise marketing initiatives to maximise hotel visibility.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess hotel operations and support partners with best‑practice guidance.

Required profile

• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High energy, team‑player attitude with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
• Experience in hospitality or travel‑industry business development preferred.
