Business Development Executive

About the role

INDOWORLD EXPORT HOUSE is seeking a full‑time Business Development Executive to work on‑site in Kozhikode. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s international client base by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and building a robust pipeline of prospective partners.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential export and trade opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and support the execution of trade and logistics activities.
• Manage client accounts, maintain long‑term relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Track performance metrics, report progress to stakeholders, and contribute to strategic initiatives that grow INDOWORLD’s presence in key markets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to drive new business development and lead generation in export or international trade environments.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of trade, logistics, and global markets.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in account management and customer retention.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
