Business Development Executive

About the role

Ekatra Collective is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand market presence for its handcrafted stationery and accessories brand. Based in Kota, this full‑time, on‑site position will manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, while collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Build and nurture client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development and closing.
• Research potential markets and reach out to prospects through multiple channels.
• Conduct meetings and product presentations for prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Oversee account management for key clients and provide regular performance reports and market insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven ability in new business development and lead generation.
• Strong understanding of business and commercial principles, including negotiation and basic sales planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in account management and long‑term client partnership building.
• Prior experience in sales, business development or related roles; experience in lifestyle, stationery or consumer products is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred, though relevant experience may be considered.
