Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Surat. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect with potential clients and decision‑makers through online and offline channels.
• Handle lead generation, client communication, and regular follow‑ups.
• Prepare and submit proposals that match client requirements.
• Manage bidding platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer.
• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar tools for prospecting.
• Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions based on client needs.
• Negotiate terms, support the sales process, and close deals.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, follow‑ups, and conversions.
• Work towards assigned business development and revenue targets.

Required profile

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in Business Development or IT sales.
• Experience in IT/software services sales is a plus.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow up consistently.
• Strong interest in sales, business growth, and client acquisition.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong client handling and relationship‑building abilities.
• Basic understanding of B2B sales and lead generation.
• Proficiency with Upwork, Freelancer, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Good proposal writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams.
