Business Development Executive

About the role

Thanima Farm Life Pvt Ltd, a heritage farm stay in Kerala, is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand its customer base across Malappuram and Calicut. The role focuses on corporate, group, institutional and travel‑related bookings, driving revenue through lead generation and partnership development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the Malappuram and Calicut markets.
• Develop corporate, institutional, group and travel‑related partnerships with companies, schools, colleges, travel agencies, tour operators and event planners.
• Generate, qualify and follow up on leads to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Conduct client meetings, sales visits, presentations and property tours as required.
• Coordinate with marketing and operations to create suitable packages and proposals.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, track leads, conversions and achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Manage relationships with existing corporate and key accounts and explore new revenue‑generating channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, tourism or hospitality.
• Strong lead generation, prospecting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in B2B sales or account management is a plus.
• Background in tourism, hospitality, travel or agritourism is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
