Business Development Associate – E‑commerce (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Associate to drive growth for our e‑commerce platform. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, generating leads and building relationships with potential clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential customers, partners and market opportunities.
• Generate leads through online research, LinkedIn, email campaigns and networking.
• Contact prospects, present the company’s products and services, and nurture relationships.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and business presentations as needed.
• Follow up with leads to convert them into successful deals.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects and sales activities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing and customer behaviour.
• Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions and sales performance.
• Participate in client meetings, networking events and business discussions.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience in business development, sales or a related field (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage customer relationships independently.
• Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
