Business Controller – Business Controlling and Analytics

About the role

KONE, a global leader in elevators and escalators, is entering an exciting growth phase in India. The Business Controlling and Analytics team is expanding and is looking for experienced Business Controllers to support the New Elevators & Escalators, Service and Modernisation lines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and the Finance Director to drive performance through financial insight.
• Analyse monthly orders, sales and margins; monitor revenue and cost recognition compliance.
• Facilitate planning, forecasting and budgeting processes in line with global guidelines.
• Maintain and update labour and burden rates for tendering and order booking.
• Develop KPIs for order booking quality, cost overruns and project profitability.
• Support CORE simplification projects and monitor slow‑moving or non‑moving projects.
• Provide commercial analysis for major project tenders, cash‑flow forecasts and risk scenarios.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of industrial experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong cost planning and profitability analysis.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ICWA or CIMA.
• Proven business partnering and leadership abilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to build trust with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within and outside India and adapt to a multicultural environment.
