Bubble Developer

About the role

CalliCalli is building a next‑generation marketing and commerce platform for romance books. As a Bubble Developer you will work directly with the founder and product team to ship the core primitives of the platform, shaping both the user experience and the underlying data architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship consumer‑facing features in Bubble, covering UI, workflows, and data models.
• Own end‑to‑end feature delivery, including instrumentation, reliability, and performance optimization for mobile web.
• Collaborate with product and design to ensure high‑quality UX and measurable user behavior.
• Maintain and evolve the Postgres relational database that backs the application.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years building production applications in Bubble.
• Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize what matters.
• Clear communication and comfort working directly with a founder in an early‑stage environment.
• Experience with performance tuning and simple, scalable architectures.

Required skills

• Bubble (UI, workflows, data modeling)
• PostgreSQL relational databases
• Instrumentation and analytics (events, funnels, retention)
• Performance optimization for mobile web

Nice to have

• Frontend fundamentals such as React or Next.js
• Backend fundamentals such as Node.js or Python
• Experience with marketplaces, creator tools, or ad‑tech platforms
• Knowledge of fraud prevention, personalization, or SEO‑friendly web pages
