About the role

The Breakfast Service Steward – Morning Shift is a full‑time, on‑site position at Open Door Hotels in Candolim. You will be the first point of contact for guests during breakfast, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience that reflects the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, arrange and replenish the breakfast buffet or à la carte stations according to brand guidelines.
• Greet, seat guests and take breakfast orders, relaying them accurately to the kitchen team.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, responding to guest requests or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and adherence to food safety procedures.
• Support basic inventory checks and report any shortages.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work reliably on morning shifts, stand for extended periods and handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and a guest‑first mindset.
• Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Food & beverage service knowledge.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience in front‑of‑house hospitality roles (preferred but not mandatory).
