Branch Relationship Manager – Consumer Banking

About the role

The Branch Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring, growing and retaining high‑net‑worth clients for DBS Consumer Banking. The role focuses on delivering volume and revenue targets through a need‑based approach, cross‑selling DBS products and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and upgrade quality clients in the branch area to the Treasures segment (AUM ≥ INR 1 million).
• Deepen wallet share of existing customers through retention, AUM growth and cross‑selling of deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and personal loans.
• Achieve monthly and annual volume and revenue objectives as agreed.
• Drive activation of e‑Channels (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Online Mutual Funds, Debit Card) and grow Savings Book balances.
• Implement product strategies and ensure optimal product mix for profitability.
• Deliver exemplary customer service and uphold DBS service standards.
• Maintain strict internal and regulatory compliance, including AML/KYC, health & safety and risk reviews.
• Coordinate with Service, Distribution and Product teams to meet branch and cluster targets.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of DBS consumer banking products and services.
• Ability to manage and grow client AUM of INR 1 million or more.
• Excellent client engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and query resolution.
• Team‑player who can collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Commitment to compliance, due‑diligence and risk management.
