Branch Manager – Gold Loans

About the role

The Branch Manager – Gold Loans will lead the Bhiwandi branch to achieve its business targets while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and internal standards. You will be responsible for driving loan disbursements, acquiring new customers, and maintaining portfolio quality.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch‑level business performance across disbursement, new customer acquisition, yield, audit, collections and risk KPIs.
• Build and nurture relationships with local customers, partners, authorities and community influencers to boost acquisition.
• Lead and supervise branch staff (ABM, Gold Valuer, GLO, CSE) ensuring productivity and performance management.
• Oversee accurate gold valuation, loan structuring within LTV norms and proper documentation for new and renewal transactions.
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI norms, internal policies, risk processes, purity testing and audit standards.
• Monitor portfolio metrics such as delinquencies, yield, tonnage, auction ratios, spurious/bentex cases and overall branch growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a gold‑loan or secured‑loan branch.
• Strong knowledge of RBI regulations and internal compliance frameworks.
• Leadership ability to manage a multi‑disciplinary team and drive performance.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with customers and local stakeholders.
