Blow Molding Technician

About the role

The Blow Molding Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion and injection blow‑molding machines in a food‑grade manufacturing environment. The role ensures safe, efficient production while adhering to GMP, food‑safety, and 5S standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate extrusion blow‑molding and injection blow‑molding machines according to established procedures.
• Perform pre‑operation checks, mold change‑overs, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor plant parameters, log production data, and troubleshoot equipment to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness of the molding area and uphold 5S practices.
• Reduce waste (pinch‑off material) and address market complaints.
• Supervise and guide contractual manpower deployed in the blow‑molding plant.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions and apply learnings on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of blow‑molding machines and utilities operations.
• Ability to follow safety, food‑safety, and GMP guidelines.
• Experience supervising contract workers and communicating with internal teams.
