About the role
Assystem is looking for a BIM Piping Designer to create detailed 3D models of plumbing and fire‑protection systems, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D models of plumbing and fire‑protection systems in Autodesk Revit to LOD 300‑500.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
- Produce 2D construction, shop, and as‑built drawings directly from BIM models.
- Extract material schedules and Bill of Quantities for cost estimation.
- Create and maintain project‑specific Revit family libraries for pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or civil‑structures projects.
- Proven experience delivering BIM models for metro, bridges, roads, water, or wastewater projects.
Required skills
- Autodesk Revit (including family creation).
- Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Microstation and raster file handling.
