Barista

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our food and beverage team at a Marriott property in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality coffee and beverage service while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Take guest orders, enter them into the MICROS POS system, and prepare coffee and other beverages.
• Handle cash transactions, count the bank at shift end, and complete cashier reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and coffee cart throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 25 lb for an entire shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Basic cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to operate coffee‑making equipment safely.
