Banquet Steward

About the role

Leela Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Banquet Steward to join its hospitality team in Jabalpur. This full‑time, on‑site position supports banquet operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and hygiene across service and kitchen areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet equipment and tables according to event specifications.
• Store, handle, and maintain tableware and service equipment safely.
• Assist the food and beverage team in replenishing supplies and resetting banquet spaces.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards during event preparation and execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues and respond promptly to requests from banquet and service teams.

Required profile

• Strong food service and beverage knowledge with basic understanding of banquet operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills and a respectful, team‑oriented attitude.
• Attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Relevant experience in restaurants, hotels, or banquet settings is a plus.
• Basic education and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
