Banquet Manager

About the role

At Crowne Plaza we like to lead from the front. We’re looking for a Banquet Manager who sets high standards in service, team performance, and event execution. You’ll lead the banquet team and work closely with the Catering Sales and Culinary teams to ensure every event delivers an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Managing banquet operations, team performance, and event execution.
• Coordinating meetings, conferences, banquets, and catering events.
• Ensuring excellent service and professionally resolving guest concerns.
• Monitoring departmental costs, budgets, and revenue targets.
• Supporting recruitment, training, coaching, and team engagement.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banquet operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Good command of English and the local language.
• Knowledge of banquet operations, food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
