Banking Ops Analyst

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Banking Operations Analyst to deliver transaction services in line with policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves handling stakeholder enquiries, providing accurate administrative support, and collaborating with team members to maintain high‑quality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistent productivity while managing daily workload efficiently.
• Support workforce capacity planning by accurately tracking tasks and outputs.
• Record and update information in work tools with high accuracy to minimise rework.
• Complete assigned tasks and customer/partner interactions with ≥97% accuracy and minimal errors.
• Monitor personal performance metrics and contribute to overall team productivity.
• Apply strong process knowledge, guide colleagues, and provide clarity when needed.
• Conduct quality checks on own work, own improvements, and uphold team quality standards.
• Complete all required compliance training, adhere to policies, maintain information security, and promptly escalate risks.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and performance across the team.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of banking processes and procedures gained through operational experience.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to manage routine escalations independently.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent service delivery skills.
• Proactive team player able to collaborate across locations.

Required skills

• Experience with ANZ systems: EODSF, CAP, CARDS, CARBE, Web Voucher, Vision Plus, Siebel.
