Bank Teller – Retail Banking

About the role

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a dedicated Teller to join its Retail Banking team at the Ratlam branch. This full‑time, onsite role is the first point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth daily operations while promoting the bank’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other banking transactions accurately.
• Maintain and balance cash drawers with precise record‑keeping.
• Promote and cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures and security protocols.
• Collaborate with branch team members to meet branch goals.
• Support branch operations during peak hours.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 0–4 years of experience in customer service or cash handling.
• Prior banking or financial services experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and high attention to detail.
• Willingness to undergo background and credit checks.
