Backend Developer (Surat)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in Surat. You will build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs, and ensure they run reliably in production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise scalable backend services.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and implement business logic.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, optimise queries and data models.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services.
• Debug production issues, reproduce bugs, fix root causes and add automated tests.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
