Backend Developer – Remote (India)

About the role

Join our engineering team as a Backend Developer and help build robust, scalable server‑side applications, APIs, and database integrations for a variety of digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Develop and maintain database schemas and complex queries.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs.
• Implement security, data protection, and authentication/authorization measures.
• Optimize performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user‑facing components.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with Node.js or similar backend technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Understanding of server architecture, cloud services, and micro‑services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
