Backend Developer – Build Scalable High-Performance Applications

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design and implement high‑performance, scalable services that power modern digital products. You will work on API design, distributed systems, and database optimization while ensuring security and reliability as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimise query performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long‑term solutions.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Continuously improve system architecture and development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
