AWS Application Architect

About the role

The AWS Application Architect will design and define cloud‑native application architectures on Amazon Web Services. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions using serverless, microservices, and event‑driven patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Define AWS application architecture and design patterns.
• Design microservices, APIs, serverless and event‑driven components.
• Review security, reliability, scalability and performance requirements.
• Guide the modernization of legacy applications into AWS‑native designs.
• Support technical leads and developers through design reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on delivery experience with AWS application development and architecture.
• Preferred AWS certifications: Developer – Associate, Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

Required skills

• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Step Functions.
• Microservices and REST API design.
• Serverless and event‑driven architecture.
• DynamoDB, RDS, OAuth, IAM.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Application modernization, domain decomposition and integration patterns.
• Security, resilience, performance and observability design.
