AWS Administrator – Terraform Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Administrator with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform (modules, state management, workspaces).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate Terraform deployments with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch, ELK, and related tools.
• Handle backup, disaster recovery, high‑availability configurations, and cost‑optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services.
• Proven expertise in Terraform, including module development and state management.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK).
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM roles, policies, encryption).
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash and Python.
