AWS Administrator – Terraform & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Administrator with strong Terraform expertise to design, build, and operate our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform (modules, state, workspaces).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for repeatable deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate Terraform deployments with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch, ELK, and related tools.
• Handle backup, disaster recovery, high‑availability configurations, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance policies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide guidance to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proven expertise in Terraform, including module creation, state management, and workspaces.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Linux/Unix system administration experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK).
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM roles, policies, encryption).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
