AWS Admin – Terraform Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Administrator with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on cloud engineering with automation and DevOps practices to ensure reliable, secure, and cost‑effective services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Provision, scale, and maintain resources through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules, manage state files, and configure back‑ends.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Automate operational tasks with Shell and Python scripts.
• Implement IAM roles, policies, and security best practices; enforce compliance and governance.
• Configure secure networking (subnets, security groups, NACLs).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain logs and audit trails.
• Analyze AWS usage, optimize costs, and implement tagging strategies.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in AWS administration or cloud engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Experience with IaC principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Git version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Experience with multi‑account AWS architectures and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Background in cloud security and compliance frameworks.
