Automation Analyst – ASRS & Robotics Operations

About the role

The Automation Analyst will ensure the smooth operation of the Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and picking robots within the warehouse. The role bridges the warehouse floor, SAP integration and third‑party maintenance to guarantee error‑free material flow for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the ASRS, AGV fleet and picking robots to maintain 100 % equipment availability and optimal OEE.
• Synchronise SAP (including eWM) with the ASRS, creating tickets and coordinating with support teams to resolve communication errors.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects on system efficiency, safety, storage capacity and fault management.
• Coordinate third‑party maintenance activities and ensure compliance with food‑safety, quality and occupational‑health standards.
• Train warehouse personnel, develop procedures and work aids for the handling of automation equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience operating or supporting ASRS, AGV or robotic warehouse systems.
• Proven ability to analyse incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills to work with warehouse teams, external vendors and SAP support.

Required skills

• SAP (including eWM) integration with warehouse automation.
• ASRS and AGV system operation and troubleshooting.
• Robotics and picking‑robot control.
• Knowledge of OEE, MTBF and other equipment performance metrics.
• Use of data‑analysis and problem‑solving tools for fault diagnosis.
