AutoCAD Draughtsman – On-site in Mumbai

About the role

We are looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our on‑site team in Mumbai. The role combines detailed drafting work with project planning support, ensuring designs meet industry standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines and milestones using MS Project and MS Office.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define resource requirements and prepare comprehensive project reports.
• Create, review and update technical drawings, blueprints and schematics in AutoCAD.
• Modify designs based on client feedback and evolving project needs while ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to resolve design‑related issues during execution.
• Participate in site visits, surveys and client meetings as required.
• Communicate progress and technical concerns to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in planning, drafting or a similar role.
• AutoCAD certification.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
