Auditor – Remote (India)

About the role

Jitendra Consulting Group is seeking a dedicated Auditor to work remotely from India. The position offers the chance to engage with an international client base and gain exposure to UAE‑based auditing, accounting, VAT and corporate tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform statutory audits, internal audits, financial statement reviews and other assurance assignments independently.
• Prepare audit plans, working papers, audit schedules, draft financial statements, audit reports and management letters.
• Review financial records for compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations.
• Identify internal control weaknesses, assess business risks and recommend practical improvements.
• Assist clients with accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, corporate tax and other compliance matters.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain audit evidence and resolve queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for the Audit Manager.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing standards and UAE tax regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified CA or ACCA (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of post‑qualification experience in an audit or consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with UAE audit, VAT, corporate tax or accounting is an advantage.
