Auditor – Business Audit

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our Business Audit team, focusing on investment banking and corporate finance functions. The role involves delivering standalone and joint audits, collaborating with global audit teams, and providing actionable recommendations to improve processes and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements across the audit lifecycle, including standalone and integrated audits.
• Assess operational processes in back‑office, middle‑office, front‑office, as well as finance, HR, compliance, and sourcing functions.
• Evaluate internal controls, test effectiveness of control environments, and document audit evidence.
• Identify underlying issues, prepare clear audit findings, and recommend business and process improvements.
• Engage with stakeholders, communicate results in English, and monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with banking regulations, risk management principles, and emerging technologies such as data analytics and AI.
• Contribute to quality initiatives and professional development within the audit function.

Required profile

• CA, MBA or equivalent with at least 5 years of audit or operations experience in investment banking, finance, or corporate functions.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, risk types (accounting, fraud, credit, liquidity, market, operational, compliance) and internal control systems.
• Experience working with global audit teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CFE, or FRM are a plus.
