Auditor, Associate

About the role

The Associate Auditor will join the Group Audit team in Bangalore, supporting risk‑based and regulatory audits for the bank’s investment, corporate and retail banking activities. The role involves both local and global audit engagements, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with audit teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based and regulatory audits across multiple banking lines, both locally and globally.
• Track audit issues, validate closures, and ensure compliance with Group Audit methodology.
• Coordinate with Global Audit (GA) teams to achieve timely delivery of the audit plan.
• Contribute to risk assessment, continuous monitoring, and implementation of audit standards.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with business units and support functions.
• Continuously enhance technical audit expertise and propose innovative improvements.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a graduate degree, ACA qualification, or MBA in Finance.
• Experience in internal audit within investment banking, corporate banking, or retail banking.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently with strong organizational abilities.
• Confidence to discuss control failures and issues with senior management.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
