Audit Senior Manager – Asia

About the role

3M is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to lead a diverse team of auditors across South‑East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand. You will drive operational audit engagements, shape risk‑assessment processes, and ensure high‑quality audit delivery for our manufacturing and service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5‑6 auditors across multiple geographies, setting goals, coaching, and fostering continuous improvement.
• Assist in annual global audit scoping and planning, covering subsidiaries, service centers, plants and acquisitions.
• Plan, scope, execute and report operational audit engagements in a manufacturing environment.
• Prepare risk assessments, evaluate control designs, identify gaps and recommend mitigating controls.
• Gather, analyse and interpret complex data; conduct interviews with auditees and management.
• Draft findings and recommendations, discuss them with stakeholders, and oversee remediation plans.
• Review working papers against internal audit quality standards and present audit reports to management.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years of people‑management experience.
• Relevant certification such as CA, CIA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in internal or external audit, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
