Audit Senior – External & Statutory Audit

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Audit Senior to lead external and statutory audit engagements for clients worldwide. You will collaborate with on‑shore and off‑shore teams, applying your expertise in US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS and audit standards to deliver high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on audit engagements within scope and deadlines.
• Monitor engagement progress, identify best practices and ensure compliance with Deloitte quality and risk‑management procedures.
• Allocate resources, manage workflow and track budget versus actuals.
• Oversee junior staff, guide them through all audit phases and standardize review processes.
• Engage with assurance teams to address operational matters and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience in statutory audit.
• Prior exposure to US clients or familiarity with US GAAP, GAAS or IFRS is preferred.
