Audit Senior – Assurance (Mumbai)

About the role

As an Audit Senior in the Assurance practice, you will lead audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IND AS, and IFRS. You will work closely with clients across benefit plans, real estate, HUD, single audits, and investment funds, delivering high‑quality audit services while fostering strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute all phases of audits, including risk identification, internal control testing, substantive procedures, and financial statement review.
• Perform attest services such as compilations and reviews.
• Research and resolve accounting and audit issues in line with US GAAP, GAAS, and relevant standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities for clients.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 1‑2 audit staff on each engagement.
• Contribute to business development through proposal scoping and budgeting.
• Participate in internal training and practice initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• CA and/or US CPA preferred, with an expectation to obtain US CPA.
• 2‑5 years of recent public accounting experience in relevant industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
