Assurance Consultant – Global Delivery Services

About the role

Join EY’s Global Delivery Services as an Assurance Consultant, supporting audit engagements for Europe or US clients. You will work with global EY teams, supervise delivery of GDS engagement management support, and perform substantive and controls‑based testing.

Key responsibilities

• Document execution of review procedures accurately as defined by engagement teams.
• Identify potential review issues from financial statement analysis and communicate them to supervisors.
• Collaborate with seniors and engagement teams to set goals and deliver work in line with EY methodology and standards.
• Use technology to share knowledge, enhance service delivery and suggest improvements to review techniques.

Required profile

• Confident, outgoing with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, pay attention to detail and prioritize projects.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping, with CA qualification (Completed or Inter with Articleship).
• Interest in business and commerciality, and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
