Assurance Advanced Analyst – Hybrid – Chennai

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Advanced Analyst to join its Chennai office. The role is hybrid, allowing collaboration both in‑person and remotely while supporting private equity, hedge fund and alternative investment clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing audit procedures in accordance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical reviews, and internal control evaluations.
• Prepare audit documentation and workpapers complying with firm and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with global team members to meet engagement deadlines.
• Communicate audit findings and issues effectively to team leads.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data.

Required profile

• CA or CPA freshers.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit tools such as CaseWare or CCH.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
