Associate – Valuations Advisory (Deals)

About the role

At PwC, the Deals Advisory team provides strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring. As an Associate in the Valuations Advisory practice, you will deliver valuation analysis for a range of transactions, helping clients assess worth and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong academic track record and work ethic.
• Apply valuation techniques such as cost of capital, DCF and other tools.
• Produce detailed financial models and valuation reports.
• Work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and oral formats.
• Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; exposure to Bloomberg or Capitaline is a plus.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in valuations, corporate finance or related advisory work.
• CA qualification or a post‑graduate degree (Master’s or Chartered Accountant).

Required skills

• Valuations / Financial Modelling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas and macros).
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and familiarity with Bloomberg or Capitaline databases.
