Associate SysSecOps Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Data

About the role

As an Associate SysSecOps Administrator within Denodo's IT team, you will help manage corporate IT infrastructure, assets, and a portfolio of global user applications, services, and tools. You will work closely with both technical and non‑technical users to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of hybrid‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement solutions to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of applications on hybrid cloud platforms.
• Perform operating system and network administration for Windows and Linux servers.
• Automate routine tasks to streamline support workflows.
• Assist non‑technical end users and collaborate with developers and testers.
• Test backup, recovery, and restore procedures.
• Maintain an inventory of assets, services, software, and hardware.
• Document architectures, deployments, and installations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune systems to meet SLA requirements.
• Propose and execute deployment improvements.
• Participate in on‑call duties to support platforms and services.

Required skills

• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Understanding of network protocols and services.
• Proficiency in a high‑level programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with server virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Ali Cloud, or OpenShift.
• Use of monitoring tools for system health.
• Version control experience, particularly Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration/deployment practices.
