Associate – SPL Screening & Export Controls

About the role

The Associate – SPL Screening & Export Controls role supports Bosch's compliance function by processing and reviewing sanctions and export‑control alerts. You will work with SAP GTS and related tools to ensure that vendor, customer, employee and transaction data are screened against relevant sanction lists and that all decisions are properly documented.

Key responsibilities

• Process alerts routed through SAP‑GTS in line with the defined screening workflow.
• Compare Bosch data with sanctions list data and make decisions based on established criteria.
• Execute screening for vendors, customers, employees, documents and payments within assigned work queues.
• Record system decisions with clear remarks and maintain an audit trail.
• Support semi‑automatic screening for non‑GTS systems using Excel/CSV templates.
• Handle manual screening requests received via tools or email and communicate outcomes.
• Escalate exceptions, unclear matches or data visibility issues through the approved stakeholder route.
• Adhere to data security and confidentiality requirements throughout the process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce, finance, Business Administration, ICWA or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in sanctions screening, compliance operations, export control support or similar control‑based activities.

Required skills

• Understanding of sanctions‑screening concepts such as true match, false positive, technical hit and escalation handling.
• Familiarity with SAP GTS/BPS operational environments.
• Proficiency in Excel for data preparation and analysis.
