Associate Security Officer

About the role

The Associate Security Officer will oversee the Smart Campus security operations from a state‑of‑the‑art command centre. This role ensures the safety of the campus perimeter, buildings, critical areas and essential systems by continuously monitoring and reviewing security activities. The officer will collaborate with campus facilities and IT teams to ensure integrated security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage overall campus security operations from the command centre.
• Monitor security of the perimeter, buildings, critical zones and vital systems.
• Utilise security management tools such as CCTV, access control and public‑address systems to detect and respond to incidents.
• Identify operational gaps and propose new technology or system solutions to enhance security coverage.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make timely decisions.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
• Experience with security technologies and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
