Associate Professor / Professor of Practice – Advanced Computing

About the role

DBS Global University is seeking dynamic academic leaders for its School of Advanced Computing in Dehradun. The university offers two senior faculty positions – Associate Professor and Professor of Practice – focused on building Centres of Excellence across emerging technology domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate curricula in AI/ML, Robotics, Drone IoT, Cyber Security, System Science, Data Science and Business Analytics.
• Lead research projects, secure grants, and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
• Establish and manage Centres of Excellence, fostering industry collaborations and technology transfer.
• Mentor students, supervise theses, and contribute to academic governance.
• Participate in faculty recruitment, curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• For Associate Professor: B.Tech CSE, M.Tech CSE, PhD CSE, minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience and at least 2 years of industry experience.
• For Professor of Practice: 15 + years of relevant industry experience, recognized certifications, and proven experience leading a Centre of Excellence.
• Preference for candidates with exposure to foreign universities.
