Associate Professor (Business & Management)

About the role

The university seeks an experienced Associate Professor to lead teaching, research, and community engagement in Business and Management disciplines. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality instruction at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels while advancing the institution's research profile.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously update curricula for UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes in areas such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, and International Business.
• Mentor students academically and professionally, supervising dissertations and Ph.D. theses.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in indexed journals, and secure external research grants.
• Participate in departmental, Board of Studies, and Academic Council meetings; contribute to accreditation and quality assurance activities.
• Develop industry partnerships for internships, live projects, and placement support; organize seminars, workshops and faculty development programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in Commerce, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (mandatory).
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience at UG/PG level, including at least 3 years as Assistant Professor.
• At least 5 publications in UGC‑CARE, Scopus or Web of Science indexed journals.
• Preference for candidates cleared UGC‑NET/SLET/SET or with equivalent Ph.D. qualifications.
