Associate Product Manager – Fintech

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager who thrives on data‑driven problem solving and enjoys working at the intersection of product, technology and business in a fast‑moving fintech environment. You will partner with engineering, analytics, design and an external banking partner to turn ambiguous challenges into measurable product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write complex SQL queries, build and maintain dashboards, and independently validate metrics and data quality.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product and data questions using first‑principles thinking.
• Own sprint planning end‑to‑end: write user stories, define acceptance criteria, prioritize backlogs and collaborate with engineers to deliver features on time.
• Act as a liaison between tech, business, analytics and design teams, communicating requirements and trade‑offs.
• Make product decisions that balance user impact, business outcomes, technical complexity and regulatory constraints, and clearly articulate the rationale.
• Manage relationships with internal leadership and external bank stakeholders, ensuring compliance and partner expectations are met.
• Track post‑launch performance, analyse outcomes and iterate based on data and user behaviour.

Required profile

• 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or credit‑card products.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Comfort working with engineering on data validation, APIs and backend systems.
• Experience collaborating with a bank or other regulated financial institution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to challenge assumptions with data.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and sprint management.
