Associate – Internal Audit Services (Advisory) – Pune

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Internal Audit Services team in Pune. The role involves delivering end‑to‑end internal audit solutions, supporting IA function set‑up, transformation and managed services for clients across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal and process audit engagements, applying audit methodology and assessing controls.
• Support IA function set‑up, co‑sourcing, outsourcing and managed service delivery.
• Perform Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) and internal control reviews, including preventive, detective and anti‑fraud controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional experts in cyber, forensics and compliance to address risk.
• Utilise ERP and other risk technology platforms to enhance audit effectiveness.

Required profile

• Experience with internal audit or process audit concepts and methodology.
• Understanding of internal control frameworks and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
