Associate – GenAI & Agentic AI (Bangalore)

About the role

At PwC, the Associate in GenAI and Agentic AI will work within the Advisory practice to design, develop and deploy autonomous AI agents and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for clients across India. The role combines advanced data‑analytics engineering with intelligent automation to turn raw data into actionable insights and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement autonomous agents using frameworks such as LangChain, Crew.ai, SK and Autogen.
• Develop and optimise RAG pipelines for improved information retrieval and response generation.
• Create evaluation frameworks to test agent performance, safety and hallucination mitigation.
• Implement monitoring, logging and documentation standards for agent behaviour.
• Contribute to the evolution of agent architecture and best‑practice guidelines.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in AI/ML or data‑analytics engineering.
• Degree in Engineering (B.E./M.E./M.Tech) or Business (MBA) preferred.
• Willingness to work from PwC locations across PAN India, with a focus on Bengaluru.

Required skills

• Advanced Python programming, including asynchronous code and API development.
• Experience with vector databases, embedding models and RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency in Large Language Model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with LangChain, Crew.ai, SK, Autogen and other agent‑orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of modern software practices (Git, CI/CD, testing) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
