Associate – Finance Operations & Retail Accounting

About the role

The Associate – Finance Operations & Retail Accounting will oversee all financial activities across Aramya’s retail stores. The role focuses on cash reconciliation, daily accounting, and accounts receivable, while leading a team of accountants and bookkeeping staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor daily cash reconciliation procedures for all retail locations, including POS data verification and bank deposit reconciliation.
• Investigate cash discrepancies, document root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day store accounting tasks such as journal entries, invoice processing, expense recording, and inventory adjustments.
• Coordinate month‑end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of store‑level financial statements.
• Supervise accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording.
• Lead and develop a team of accountants, enforcing internal controls and segregation of duties.

Required profile

• Strong operational knowledge of retail finance and cash management.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting staff.
• Experience with retail accounting principles, journalizing transactions, and month‑end close.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
