Associate Finance Controller

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Finance Controller to join our global finance team. In this position you will support the accurate processing of daily financial transactions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and invoicing.
• Perform cost accounting activities such as allocating direct and indirect costs and analysing cost variances.
• Develop, monitor and report on annual revenue and expense budgets.
• Conduct actual‑vs‑budget variance analysis and provide insights to management.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations, accounting principles and internal controls.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budget accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently within defined guidelines while seeking guidance on complex issues.
• Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Advanced education (e.g., bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field) is preferred.
