Associate Director of Sales – Weddings & MICE

About the role

The Associate Director of Sales – Weddings & MICE will lead the hotel's weddings, social events, meetings, incentives and group business sales strategy, driving revenue and enhancing the hotel's reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve wedding and MICE revenue targets.
• Drive business growth through weddings, corporate events, conferences, incentives, exhibitions, and social celebrations.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and expand the hotel's presence in key market segments.
• Establish annual sales goals, forecasts, and action plans in alignment with hotel objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain competitive positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high‑value clients, corporate partners, and event planners.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental targets.
• Oversee event planning and execution to ensure all weddings and MICE events meet the hotel's quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in hotel sales, with significant exposure to weddings and MICE segments.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale weddings, corporate events, and high‑value group business.
• Strong network with wedding planners, corporate clients, event agencies, and industry partners.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets and manage complex sales cycles.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
